Hey guys I need some help in troubleshooting this issue. I've got MS Office 2013 Standard Volume License and I've pushed it out to about 50 computers. I've also got a KMS Host setup on Windows 2008 R2 and its been working great activating all Windows 7 and Windows 2008 machines. So that Windows 2008 R2 workstation activates more than just Office 2013 and like I said its been working great for the Win7 and Win2008 Operating Systems. I also performed the appropriate steps in the link above to verify the Office 2013 KMS Host, and it checked out well. On about 40 workstations MS Office 2013 activated correctly and they were pointed to the correct KMS Host because of the SRV Records in the DNS. Of those 40 workstations about 15 are Windows 8.1 Machines that don't use the KMS Host to activate the operating system, however they use it to activate Office 2013 and they've had no problem.
Here is the problem..... I have 10 other laptops that all run Windows 8.1 and they don't use the KMS Host to authenticate the OS. On all 10 of these workstations, Office 2013 will not activate.
