I don't have a juicer but did some research and saved some money. I went to fabric store and bought some voile ( 1/2 yard for $3. I cut off a piece about 20 x 16 and this recipe was perfectly strained. I can reuse plus have enough left to make 7 more. Much cheaper than nut milk bags.This juice was very tasty but quite tangy. I drank a glass full and still have about 1/2 glass left for later. I'm going to try sweetening it up a bit with maybe some pineapple next time.
Can the XL power pressure cooker be used without the inner pot? The jam recipes that are in the recipe book that came with it , say to put the ingredients in the pressure cooker and then once jam is in the jars, put the jars in the clean inner pot. It was kind of confusing as to whether the jam is cooked just in the pressure cooker itself or in the inner pot in the pressure cooker.

I have the Power Cooker 6 qt, so far everything I made has been great. My question is, all the recipes I find call for less water (1 cup) and less time than what the book comes with. Should I follow the recipes or the book. I feel like I am over cooking everything, but I may not me taking in the time it takes to heat up. Another question, do you put your cook time in first and then the pressure?

You can make cherry jam.The cherries need to be pitted and chopped in a food processor or blender. You could also reduce them to cherry juice in a juicer or strain after using the food processor or blender. The best recipe would be any recipe for berries like blueberries or strawberries.
